Hello to you, loyal Qonquer players.

COMimic and Qonquer suffered as a result of bad fortune and health. But over the last six months, this situation began to improve. It was not really viable to resume work on COMimic as this was obviously a dead fish and we had moved beyond java into C++. For this reason we decided to start work on our latest project CHROME. Those of you who subscribed to COMimic while we were not able to support it, we apologise. If you knew the situation we were in, you would understand. We are more than happy to compensate any of you that we can trace the transactions for with maybe CHROME subs or QPs in QO.

CHROME took about six months to develop and is now being used by nearly 200 subscribers, with the amount of subscriptions growing every day. But, what we really want is for Qonquer to return, bigger and better than ever. Unfortunately, this requires funds. CHROME is managing to pay our bills (just) but the requirements for a Bot server is much much less demanding than a full game server and we just cannot afford the hosting fees.

This is where you, the loyal players of Qonquer can help bring it back. We need a dedicated server up and running and like the previous Qonquer, paid up front and in advance for one year. This way, it gives us a big time frame to deal with any situations that may arise. Everyone knows just how stable Qonquer was. It was left running for months with no supervision and never crashed once. Not many other game servers can make that claim. Not only do we need the server, but our personal situation also needs improvement, for that reason we are trying to get a decent sum of money together to pay for what is needed. So we are asking for donations to help increase the money that we are both saving to get QO back online as fast as possible. Any donation, no matter how small WILL be beneficial to the project.

The dedicated server required is going to cost a lot to pay for a year. We also desperately need new computer hardware and more importantly, a comfortable environment for development. Donators toward the project ressurection will be rewarded with special status and abilities in-game and of course the satisfaction of knowing they you were a part of bringing back what was unarguably the best CO private server that there ever was.

Our plan for Qonquer is to immediatly resume the original Qonquer server, so that all of you can get back to your Qonquer characters again (We have all the database backed up). But no development on that server will continue. We will instead be starting again from scratch, developing the next QO server based on the most up to date client there is, the Chinese client. Once the new server is ready, we will migrate from the old server to the new one. Naturally, the new server will be available to login and test (mess around) as is the tradition with all Qonquer development.

Should we not reach our target, all donations will be refunded and I guess we'll try to get a job somewhere instead. We know you all enjoyed Qonquer, and more than anything running Qonquer is what we want to do to earn a living. So, help us to make things the way they were again.
